Day 1: Fes → Volubilis → Chefchaouen (Approx. 6–7 hours drive total)
Your northern Morocco journey begins at 8:00 AM, when your friendly bilingual driver (French/English) meets you at your riad or hotel in Fes. Depart toward the UNESCO-listed Roman ruins of Volubilis, where you’ll explore ancient mosaics and arches that tell stories of Morocco’s Roman past. Continue to the holy town of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, beautifully perched on two hills, for a short panoramic stop and photos.
By afternoon, the road winds through the Rif Mountains, leading you to the magical Chefchaouen, Morocco’s famous Blue Pearl. Arrive around 3:30–4:00 PM. Spend the evening discovering its peaceful medina, narrow blue alleys, Outa El Hammam Square, and Kasbah Museum. Dinner and overnight stay at a charming riad inside Chefchaouen’s medina.
Day 2: Chefchaouen → Tangier (Approx. 3–4 hours drive total)
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning in Chefchaouen, capture last photos of its blue streets, or shop for local crafts and handwoven blankets. Around 10:00 AM, continue your journey north toward Tangier, passing through scenic Rif landscapes.
Upon arrival in Tangier, take a guided city tour to explore its main highlights: the Kasbah, Grand Socco, Cap Spartel, and the Caves of Hercules overlooking the Atlantic. Enjoy lunch at a seaside café, then some free time to walk along Tangier’s Corniche before your driver drops you off at your hotel or airport, marking the end of your Fes North Tour to Tangier.
