Day 1: Fes → Mid-Atlas → Merzouga Desert

Depart early from Fes with your English/French-speaking driver. The road winds through the Middle Atlas mountains: you’ll pass Ifrane, see cedar forests, and maybe spot Barbary monkeys near Azrou. After a lunch stop in Midelt, continue through the lush Ziz Valley, with its palm groves and kasbahs, until you reach Erfoud, then Merzouga. In the late afternoon, take a camel ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset. Dinner under the stars at a luxury desert camp, followed by a night in Merzouga.

Day 2: Desert Dawn → Todgha Gorge → Dades Valley

Wake up early for the sunrise over the dunes, then return for breakfast. Hit the road towards Rissani, then drive into Tinghir, where you’ll explore Berber villages and enjoy a walk along the Todgha River canyon. After breakfast, leave Dades and journey through the Valley of the Roses near Kalaat M’Gouna. Pause at a rosewater cooperative if timing allows, then travel towards Skoura Oasis with its palm trees and tranquil landscapes. Next, visit the famed UNESCO-listed Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, explored with your guide and enjoyed with lunch nearby. The final stretch is across the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka pass, passing Berber villages on the way. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon; your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel or riad.
