Visit Morocco in 5 days! Starting in Tangier with Ocher City Gold Sands Trips, you’ll visit coastal towns, the Blue City Chefchaouen, and old cities and get a taste of the local culture.
Day 1: Arrival in Tangier → Cape Spartel & Hercules Caves → Tangier Medina
You’ll arrive in Tangier and settle into your riad or hotel. In the morning, your bilingual (French/English) driver-guide takes you to Cap Spartel, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean, for great views and sea breezes. Then head to the Caves of Hercules, exploring the legendary coastline. Later, return to Tangier’s Medina to wander narrow alleys, visit the grand Kasbah, and enjoy local cuisine by sunset.
Day 2: Tangier → Chefchaouen (Approx. 4-5 hours drive)
After breakfast, depart Tangier and drive into the Rif Mountains. Arrive in the Blue City, Chefchaouen, mid-afternoon. Once there, explore its cobalt-blue streets, artisan shops, and peaceful ambiance. Spend the night in a quaint riad inside Chefchaouen.
Day 3: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes (Approx. 5-6 hours drive)
Leave Chefchaouen after breakfast. Drive toward Volubilis, the ancient Roman ruins, and take time to wander among mossy ruins and learn about history. Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Visit Bab Mansour, historical gates, and grand mausoleums, and stroll through Meknes’ Medina. Overnight in Meknes.
Day 4: Meknes → Fez (Approx. 1-1.5 hours)
In the morning, enjoy more time in Meknes: enjoy its architecture, markets, and maybe a local breakfast. Then travel to Fez. After arrival, take a guided walking tour of the medina: artisan quarters, madrasas, tanneries, and hidden gems. Evening free to absorb the atmosphere.
Day 5: Fez → Departure or Return to Tangier
Depending on your departure plan, enjoy your final morning in Fez: shop, visit overlooked corners of the Medina, and enjoy traditional tea. Then your driver transfers you either to the airport or back toward Tangier (if required), with stops along the way for scenic views or local eats. The trip ends with your drop-off at your destination.
