6 Days Morocco Tour from Casablanca

Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca → Rabat → Chefchaouen (Approx. 4-5 hours driving)

You’ll be picked up in Casablanca in the morning. Drive north to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, where your guide will show you the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. After lunch, continue to the Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen, the “Blue Pearl.” Arrive late afternoon, enjoy sunset views in the medina, relax in a local riad, and soak in the mountain atmosphere.

Day 2: Full Day in Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes (Approx. 5-6 hours driving total)

After breakfast, explore Chefchaouen’s charming blue alleys, artisan shops, and cultural landmarks like the Kasbah Museum. At midday, drive toward Volubilis, the ancient Roman ruins, where you can wander amidst columns and mosaics. Continue to Meknes, one of the imperial cities. Overnight stay in Meknes.

Day 3: Meknes → Fes (Approx. 1-hour drive)

Morning spent discovering Meknes: the Bab Mansour gate, the grand mausoleums, and the heritage-filled medina. After lunch, a short drive to Fez. Once in Fez, settle into your riad and perhaps enjoy an evening stroll through the Old Medina, soaking up local life and sounds.

Day 4: Full Day in Fez

This day is all about Fez. With an expert guide, explore the historic medina, visit medieval madrasas, and see craftsmen at work, two major tanneries, Al-Quaraouiyin University, and significant mosques. Taste local cuisine, shop in hidden souks, and witness panoramic views over the city’s rooftops.

Day 5: Fez → Middle Atlas → Merzouga Desert (Approx. 7-8 hours driving)

Depart early from Fez. Drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, Azrou’s cedar forests, and the Ziz Valley’s palm oases. Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon. Take a camel ride into the dunes to enjoy the sunset, then dinner and an overnight in a desert camp under the stars.

Day 6: Sunrise in Sahara → Return via Ziz Valley → Back to Casablanca (Approx. 8-9 hours driving)

Rise early to see the Sahara sunrise, then ride back from the dunes. Begin your journey back west: through the Ziz Valley, across the Atlas ranges, stopping for lunch and breaks. Continue toward Casablanca, arriving in the evening. Drop-off at your accommodation marks the end of your tour.
